Just a little baby I sculpted out of apoxie sculpt and polymer, about 3 1/4 inches tall by herself, 3 3/4 in her shell. She's on eBay now if anyone is interested, and she is starting out REAL low. [link]

On one hand I'd like to sell stuff as well, but on the other.... It IS my stuff and I'm rather proud on some of my work, which makes me want to keep it. Not that I think anyone would buy anything from me in the first place, because I'm such an optimist and don't know the value of things like this and also because I think there are plenty of others who could offer something alike.... I don't know how popular stuff would be and don't want to end up making costs and not getting anything in return and.... Ah well. I'm too scared to do anything really... Afraid of everythiong always going wrong, because with me, it usually does...

Mike sezz: Give me all your money!! I'm stealing from the rich... And everyone else too! And give it to the poor. Which would be ME! (Isn't that standard bandid thinking??)
I didn't always feel that way though, because only 2 years ago, I didn't sculpt, I did flat work. Pen and inks mostly, and they took forever, and although people loved them, they weren't willing to pay what it really was worth in time and money. A portrait it took me over 100 hours or more to do, would only fetch maybe 150.00 US dollars. Pretty poor pay for all that work. Once I got into sculpting however, I found that I loved doing it, and people were willing to pay more money, for less time and materials. I have to tell you that was one hell of a boost to my ego.
Just remember that you will never get that kind of boost to your ego if you don't put your work out there. Yes showing your work is risky, and you won't always get the kind of response you may want, but you DEFINITELY won't get any positive feedback unless you take that risk. You do some great work, don't hide IT!!!
